16.8.2 Stainless Steel Welding Wire is mainly used for welding 16-8-2, 308H, 316H, 321 and 347, that combine resistance to creep, oxidation and general corrosion. It’s used for high pressure and high temperature piping systems, because it provides good thermal embrittlement resistance and creep strength.
16.8.2 Stainless Steel Welding Wire has a controlled composition and the weld deposit, which usually has Ferrite less than 5 FN, shows good hot-ductility properties, which allow to avoid weld cracking. Typical service temperature up to ~800° and cryogenic toughness properties down to -196°.
16.8.2 Stainless Steel Welding Wire is mainly used in applications such as steam piping, gas and steam turbines, chemical and petrochemical industries, power generation industries, furnace parts, etc.
